Always keeping it real here, folks! With a degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Mississippi, Kimme Hargrove quickly honed in on the importance of connecting the “food & bev” industry, the healthcare trade, and the marketing world. Renowned for her skills showcasing culinary, beverage, hospitality and tourism in Mississippi, Kimme Hargrove was formerly Marketing Director and Culinary Curator of the Mary C O’Keefe Cultural Center. As an Account Executive with Hammons & Associates in Greenwood, aka “The Delta,” she spent years building skills to manage advertising, build media plans, learn social media tricks & trade (just to name a few) for a wide variety of accounts before moving to the Coast in 2016. Kimme is a founder of the much-celebrated Delta Supper Club, continues to be a regular recipe contributor to Invitation Oxford Magazine and HottyToddy.com, and looks forward to launching Coastal Supper Club as a sister club to the original “DSC.” She worked as a chef instructor for Viking Cooking School and has created and implemented marketing strategies for hospitality, tourism, healthcare organizations, and many more across her beloved state of choice.

At CURRENT, Kimme specializes in branding, social media marketing, client relations, media buying and multifaceted marketing strategies. She serves as chairman of the marketing committee for Ocean Springs Education Foundation, PTO Teacher Appreciation Chair at Ocean Springs Upper Elementary, an advisory board member on the MS 30 Day Fund, and has worked for years on HappyHealthy Mississippi - a Mississippi State University Extension program. Kimme is life member of Junior Auxiliary - serving as President of the Greenwood chapter in 2016-17 and finishing her 5.5 years of service in the Ocean Springs/Biloxi Chapter. She currently serves on the Ocean Springs School District Superintendent Parent Advisory Board — a new and exciting roll this year!

“OMG I love LOVE to TRAVEL — the beach, blue skies, the mountains — you ask, I’ll go! My family is always on the move; we love to SEE and EXPERIENCE the big wide world, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! My MAIN mantra is……FOOD is LOVE, and of course I pull for my alma mater — the Ole Miss Rebels!! Hotty Toddy/HYDR/REBS for LIFE ALL DAY LONG! I also love have a (new) love of growing flowers, watching my kids play sports, sitting on the beach (any beach) and my HOME STATE of MISSISSIPPI! Whether its’s “the Coast”, “the Delta” or even my hometown of (crazy) Jackson, I love them all. Lots of love and friends and memories in each — all of which I cherish.

My biggest inspiration is the talent and creativity that lies within EACH of my clients. It is my ultimate goal to help them find it and USE IT!”

Kimme and her husband James II live in Ocean Springs with their most prized possessions — Mary Kathryn, 11, and James III, 10.
